Focus: Improved hearing health and access to hearing-supported environments

Strategies:

• Screening partnerships with Wu Chopperen Health Services and Australian Hearing.
• Breathe Blow Cough (BBC) program.
• Sound-field systems to be fitted to all classrooms by mid-2006.

Milestones 2005:

• All Indigenous students screened and seen by appropriate specialists.
• Breathe Blow Cough (BBC) program is an integral part of daily classroom practice throughout the school.
• Sound-field systems in use in Early Childhood classes.

Milestones 2006:

• Screening program becomes part of routine management.
• Sound-field systems in use in all classrooms.

Focus: Maximum brain functioning through a nutrition focus

Strategy:

• Develop healthy brain/grazing program.

• Routines set in observing nutritional maxims (including hydration) in all classrooms.
