Forming
partnerships

You will not leave the starting blocks without effective local
partnerships. Genuine partnerships are not easy to foster.
That is the hard part.
While
it is hard, there are still many examples of effective and
productive local partnerships focused on education and training.
All of the case studies in these materials can provide such
examples. Bob Hale, principal of Karama Primary School in
Darwin's north-eastern suburbs has put his thoughts down in
a handbook for staff. It covers all the important issues,
and has relevance far beyond his immediate environment.
