This calculator can be used for any group of students, to measure rates of success in moving from a beginning point to a specified end point.

In particular:

• Completion of a particular course or year(s) of study (eg. 'Completion rate of Year 10', 'Completion rate of a vocational education module');
• Progression from one school year to the next (eg. 'Progression from Year 5 to Year 6'); or
• Apparent retention across Year levels (eg. Apparent retention from Year 7 to Year 12').

You can use the calculator once to calculate results for your Indigenous students and again for your non-Indigenous students.
