Session 1 Making a difference: the need for action is now!

  • Why we need to improve outcomes – the current state of play of Koorie achievement in schools.

  • Using data to identify issues and to assist with planning.

  • Introduction to What Works. The Work Program and to the What Works materials.

  • Workshop: Identifying your priority issues.

  • The Dare to Lead Making a Difference initiative.

  • Developing successful strategies and plans for improving educational outcomes for Koorie students.

  • Workshop: Using the What Works materials and other resources to develop action plans.
