This book presents case studies of seven New South Wales
primary schools that developed educational programs and
teaching strategies specifically for Aboriginal students.
The aim of the project was to identify what works effectively
with Aboriginal students, and to describe how the programs
were developed. Topics inlcude;
You can find Health, ASSPA, Mathematics, Buddy Reading Programs,
SOSE, Aboriginal parent tutoring, report writing, literacy
skills groups, and the one I especially like 'Count me in
too' Numeracy Program K-2. These case studies not only tell
us what happened, but what materials were used, how the
timetable worked and so on.
